Anne Behler

Anne earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2004 and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2006 from Western Michigan University. Her background is primarily with children and families in a traditional outpatient setting. Anne returned to counseling in 2019 after staying home to raise a family full time for many years. She is currently providing psychological testing and therapy services to children and adults in the Grand Haven location.  Anne uses cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and brain-based techniques to teach clients more effective ways of managing their emotions and behaviors. She believes in equipping clients with useful skills with the hope that they can avoid long term treatment.

Caelan Butler

As a therapist, Caelan takes the whole person into consideration. It is not just the mind, or the body, or even just the situation that can bring someone to therapy. It can be all three and then some. No matter what your age, beliefs, or the concern that brings you in the door, Caelan is ready to come alongside and help you through.  Caelan’s background in criminal justice social work has allowed them the opportunity to work with a diverse population of people with a wide array of concerns. There is nothing too big or too small to bring to therapy.

Kassidy Hadix

Kassidy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2020 from Lake Superior State University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Health Psychology from University of Michigan-Dearborn in August 2023. Kassidy is a clinical health psychologist who focuses on creating a safe environment and forming authentic connections with her clients during the process of therapy. In her role as a provider, Kassidy possesses specialized training to carefully consider how mental health and the body interact, taking into account chronic or acute health conditions. She focuses on a compassionate approach to meet individuals where they are without judgment. Taking the first step can be challenging but Kassidy believes that taking the first step is deserving of praise.

Diego Castro

Diego has experience working with clients of many ages and backgrounds. In his work, he has seen the importance of establishing a genuine therapeutic relationship to provide a safe and welcoming space where people can express themselves without being judged, and feel understood and accepted regardless of their culture, race, gender identity or sexual preference. He works with his clients to collaboratively explore what brings them to therapy, and to integrate evidence-based techniques that will best suit each person’s goals and needs. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and has been working in the mental health field since 2014. He graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology from Anahuac University and obtained a Master’s in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy from Center of Cognitive Therapy, both in Mexico, where he is also licensed to practice. He has an international advanced certification in individual Schema Therapy from the International Society of Schema Therapy and integrates different therapeutic approaches to his work like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Diego enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples, and has experience in psychological testing. Currently, he is also an adjunct professor of Clinical Psychology at Hope College.

Allison Salas

Allison is a Clinical Therapist who recently graduated from Grand Valley State University with her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Allison has a history of working with adults who struggle with addiction, depression, stress management and anxiety. Within her practice, Allison creates a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals feel comfortable and supported. A goal of Allison’s is to guide her clients to find ways to overcome their life challenges and help find their confidence in themselves.

Outside from helping others, Allison is found traveling with her husband and their puppy. Allison enjoys camping, hiking, and binge-watching new shows on Netflix.

Erika Katt

Erika is a clinical health psychologist who focuses on establishing authentic connections with her clients
during the process of therapy. She takes steps towards creating a warm, non-judgmental environment in
which clients are free to be open and vulnerable without fear of invalidation. Erika believes each person’s
experiences and perspectives are unique. She focuses on holding space for each client and meeting them
where they are at. Taking risks is difficult, but Erika believes that even the first step is worthy of
congratulations.
