I graduated in 1998 from St. Mary’s University with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Prior to that I graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. 

Career-related experience includes:    

As a mental health consultant working with POs in high intensity probation and parole services.
As a Home-Based therapist providing intensive in-home therapy services with adolescents and their families.
As a therapist providing fidelity-based DBT therapy services to adolescents and their families.
As a supervisor and therapist providing intensive individual/group therapy and in-the-community services to adults with SMI and/or serious personality disorders.
As an MFLC consultant working with active duty/reserve/vets and their families dealing with deployment/re-deployment issues at various military installations.
As a therapist in the prison system at all levels of security providing intensive individual and group therapy services for those who are incarcerated.
As an outpatient therapist working with adolescents/adults/couples providing therapy services in a telehealth and/or in-person setting. Specific therapy services included treatment for PTSD/trauma/dissociation, couples-related issues, eating-related issues, stress management, parenting issues, individual DBT therapy skills training, and forensic-related issues.

I have specialized training in fidelity-based DBT therapy services, CCTP training in trauma/PTSD, TF-CBT, and MI. My primary clinical focus is forensics, those struggling with trauma and dissociative-related conditions, personality disorders, deployment/re-deployment issues, self-harm/suicidal ideation, mood disorders, and those struggling with psychosis/SMI-related conditions.

With a Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Capella University, she has equipped herself with a solid academic foundation and practical skills to provide effective therapy.

Anne Behler

Anne earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2004 and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2006 from Western Michigan University. Her background is primarily with children and families in a traditional outpatient setting. Anne returned to counseling in 2019 after staying home to raise a family full time for many years. She is currently providing psychological testing and therapy services to children and adults in the Grand Haven location.  Anne uses cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and brain-based techniques to teach clients more effective ways of managing their emotions and behaviors. She believes in equipping clients with useful skills with the hope that they can avoid long term treatment.

Caelan Butler

As a therapist, Caelan takes the whole person into consideration. It is not just the mind, or the body, or even just the situation that can bring someone to therapy. It can be all three and then some. No matter what your age, beliefs, or the concern that brings you in the door, Caelan is ready to come alongside and help you through.  Caelan’s background in criminal justice social work has allowed them the opportunity to work with a diverse population of people with a wide array of concerns. There is nothing too big or too small to bring to therapy.

Allison Salas

Allison is a Clinical Therapist who recently graduated from Grand Valley State University with her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Allison has a history of working with adults who struggle with addiction, depression, stress management and anxiety. Within her practice, Allison creates a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals feel comfortable and supported. A goal of Allison’s is to guide her clients to find ways to overcome their life challenges and help find their confidence in themselves.

Outside from helping others, Allison is found traveling with her husband and their puppy. Allison enjoys camping, hiking, and binge-watching new shows on Netflix.
