Madelyn Roop

Madelyn is a Limited License Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. She specializes in School Social Work and has experience in Elementary, Middle, and High schools, providing individual and group sessions for students of all ages. Her clinical practice values an individual’s ability to take ownership and control over their decisions and life. Madelyn utilizes many approaches when working with individuals like CBT, Play Therapy, Trauma-Informed Treatment, Humanistic Therapy and Solution-Focused treatment. Madelyn has experience working with people with disabilities, children, adolescents and non-verbal autistic individuals. Madelyn finds that through self-expression, communication and the search for understanding, we allow ourselves to be the change we wish to see in the world.
