Rebecca Hughes

Rebecca Hughes is a clinical psychologist and psychometrist specialist at West Michigan Psychological Services. She provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for adolescents and adults, with a focus on ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, and complex diagnostic presentations. Rebecca also conducts forensic and court-involved evaluations, including parent capacity and custody-related assessments, and is experienced in producing clear, well-supported reports for clinical, educational, and legal purposes.
She has completed a Master’s in Counseling: Specializing in Forensic Psychology, and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. She is currently completing the final year of her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her research interests include how individuals with complex developmental histories, such as juvenile sexual offenders, construct meaning in adulthood, as well as how addiction within romantic relationships impacts the well-being of women, particularly in the context of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
Rebecca takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to assessment, with an emphasis on translating results into practical, individualized recommendations that support real-world functioning across home, school, and work settings. Rebecca resides in West Michigan. She enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and spending time with her dog, Remy.
