Sarah Gordon

LPC

Sarah earned her Masters in Community Counseling from Western Michigan University in 2004. Over the years, Sarah has focused on working with adults, children and families with neurodevelopmental differences such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Executive Function Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. She has served the West Michigan community in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. She is also certified in diagnosis and treatment of Mood Disorders (Bipolar Spectrum and Unipolar Depression) and Perinatal Mood Disorders. Sarah is trained in Dialectical Behavior  Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and provides a neurobiological informed approach to trauma diagnosis and treatment. Sarah provides assessment for ADHD and mood disorder diagnosis and treatment, with a focus on informing individuals about how brain-body-behavior  connections impact daily functioning.
