Beata Sims is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She launched her career in 2007 and graduated from Michigan State University. Her approach is based on integrative psychiatry, including prescribing medications and complementary medicine. She practices in multiple states and has extensive experience in pharmacology and crisis intervention. She treated thousands of people with a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, insomnia, and more. She has worked in hospital settings, outpatient, community health, urgent care and prison. She enjoys working with a variety of age groups and provides a 100% confidential and non-judgmental environment. Her favorite quote is, “Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don’t work out, just take another shot.

Rebecca Brueck

Becky is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is also a certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider.  She has 13 years of experience working in the mental health field.  Becky got her nursing degree after working as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for eleven years. She received her undergraduate degree from Spring Arbor University and her Master’s Degree from Wayne State University.  She has experience treating a variety of mental health symptoms and conditions from her time working at a Community Mental Health agency and a Federally Qualified Health Center.  Becky sees patients with Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Mood Disorders (such as Bipolar Disorder), Thought Disorders (such as Schizophrenia), ADHD, and Personality Disorders.

Eryca Hazekamp

Eryca is the most recent nurse practitioner to join the practice. She has 27 years of nursing experience
with a strong critical care background before transitioning to behavioral health.

As a PMHNP, Eryca acknowledges the stigma in mental health, but does not accept it. Most people lead
extremely productive lives despite their challenges. She welcomes you to visit for an evaluation if you are
new to psychiatric medication or simply would like a fresh look at your current regimen for optimization.
Eryca embraces holistic medicine when able and appropriate but also believes evidence-based practice is
best practice.

Erin Heavilin

Erin is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with ten years of experience working in the mental health field. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from Western Michigan University and her graduate degree from the University of Colorado.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Erin recognizes that psychiatric illnesses are biological conditions induced by physiologic changes in the body. She applies core nursing principles to provide care that aims to leads to recovery and improve her patients overall quality of life and wellness. She utilizes evidence-based treatment while also approaching care with an open mind and flexibility. Erin believes in partnering with individuals, families, communities, and a patients care team, to offer the most comprehensive, effective, and meaningful care. Erin treats individuals and families of all ages, and has experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions using both medication and non-medication treatment interventions.
