Nakia is a warm and approachable therapist who creates a supportive, non-judgmental space for clients to feel seen and understood. She works with children, teens, and young adults (ages 6–35), with a special focus on adolescents navigating life transitions, ADHD, trauma, and family displacement.
She incorporates elements of play-based techniques when working with younger clients and enjoys supporting neurodivergent individuals as they build confidence and navigate relationships and everyday challenges. With a diverse background, she brings a relatable and culturally aware perspective to her work.
Nakia is based in Muskegon, offering both in-person and virtual sessions Monday through Thursday, with additional Saturday availability!
