Holland, Michigan – April 17, 2024 – West Michigan Psychological Services (WMPS) is pleased to announce the opening of its newest location in Hamilton, MI, scheduled for May 2024. This expansion represents a significant milestone for WMPS as it continues its mission to provide accessible mental health services to communities across West Michigan.
The decision to open a location in Hamilton comes at a critical time for the community. The need for mental health support in the area has become more evident than ever, and WMPS is committed to filling this gap by offering therapy services to individuals and families in Hamilton and the surrounding areas.
The new WMPS location, located at 3588 Green Pointe Center, Hamilton, MI 49419, will initially focus on providing therapy services. This marks a significant step forward in addressing the lack of therapy services historically available in Hamilton. By bringing professional mental health care closer to home, WMPS aims to make a positive impact on the well-being of individuals and families in the community.

Jenna Walbeck, LMSW, a clinical social worker and therapist, will be the first to join the WMPS team in Hamilton. With over five years of experience as a Community Coordinator at Hamilton Community Schools, Jenna has been dedicated to connecting students and families to various resources and supports. “Having observed the persistent barrier of limited access to mental health support in the community during my tenure, I am thrilled and honored to join WMPS as a therapist at the new Hamilton location,” Jenna Walbeck shared. “I eagerly anticipate collaborating with Dr. Leslie Roberts to provide much-needed mental health services to individuals and families in the area.”
